The protection of children and young people is the
proper concern of everyone in a position to help. It must be stressed
that the importance of apparently small matters needing to be taken
seriously, listened to and addressed. A recurring pattern of ‘minor’
complaints can indicate deep-seated problems that need to be addressed.
All Warley Rangers officials, helpers, volunteers who are involved with
children and young persons will take complaints seriously and report
them to the designated person.
ALL players have direct access to Warley Rangers
designated Child Protection Officer, complaints will be acknowledged and
recorded. Abuse may take place within or outside of the football
environment.
DISCIPLINE AND SANCTIONS:
Warley Rangers recognises that children and young
persons need to discover where the boundaries of good behaviour lie and
this can sometimes lead to challenging situations.
Unacceptable behaviour will in the first instance be
prevented via a verbal reprimand. Should further acts of unacceptable
behaviour take place with any individual(s), then further recourse will
be referred to Warley Rangers Constitution Rules.
NO FORM OF CORPORAL PUNISHMENT (HITTING, STRIKING,
SLAPPING, PUSHING) WILL BE USED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
